Lalu ini tentang apaan sih?

Ini tentang WEST :  (Waktu Energi  untuk Sebongkah Tesis)

TESIS lagi? lagi lagi TESIS, huehehehehhehehehe

Yap, sudah sekitar 1,5 bulan aku mengumpulkan dan analisa beberapa data-data penelitian, secara beberapa instrumen penelitian aku pakai untuk sebongkah tesis ini. Apa saja sih instrumennya? Aku pakai 4 instrumen untuk ambil data, seperti  dokumen tulisan siswa, angket, wawancara, dan observasi kelas, komplit kan ya, semoga waktu dan energiku cukup untuk membuat sebongkah tesis ini menjadi berlian mutiara tesis yang indah, aamiin 

kalau teman-teman pada nanya: pernah bosen atau males nggak sih kalau mau ngerjakan tesis ? Jujur nih ya, manusiawi aku pernah males juga waktu mau mulai analisa datanya lagi, tapi karena ada NIAT  dan USAHA yang selalu bersandar di dinding hatiku *eaaaaaaaaaaaa aku jadi tambah semangat lagiiiiii untuk menyelesaikan TESIS ini :) dan aku harus menyingkirkan rasa malasku ..hehehhe...Ingat HARUS RAJIN TEKUN ULET

Aku mo bagi-bagi tips nih biar selalu semangat untuk mengerjakan tesis ---> 

1.  Berdoa, Usaha, serta Tanamkan NIAT yang kuat bahwa kita punya tujuan-tujuan indah  kalau tesis ini selesai dikerjakan di uji dan di luluskan (semoga bisa dapat nilai A dari semua penguji,,aamiin)

2. Ingat orang tua kita yang senantiasa mendoakan kita dan berjuang untuk kebahagiaan kita 

3. Rajin bimbingan dengan para pembimbing

4. Rajin baca referensi-refernsi yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian 

5. Buatlah jadwal pribadi tentang progress penulisan tesis/ tugas akhir jadi biar kita punya pedoman hari ini ngapain dan progressnya sampai apa dll.

Exploring the "Underground" of LAWANG SEWU

Nice to see you today , you look so beautiful , you look so handsome , you look so excellent my pals. How are you today????? 

Have you ever visited Lawang Sewu? 

If you have ever visited it , I'll ask you again : Have you ever explored the underground of LAWANG SEWU? If yes , what's your first impression when you were in? Afraid/ Excited/ Happy/ Sad????

My heart, my soul and my mind *okay my language is so "lebay" , wkkwkw*  felt so excited and happy when I had a chance to explore the underground of Lawang Sewu. lalalayeyeylallayeyey . This awesome experience began when my beloved friends and I visited Lawang Sewu.

This was my second time to say hello to Lawang Sewu. For the first time I just explored the uniqueness architecture of it without exploring the underground. Then this second time, I must be in the Lawang Sewu's underground. Finally, I made it, uuyeaahhh

For the information, the ticket fee was Rp 10.000/ person  to enter Lawang Sewu , and you had to pay Rp 30.000 for the LW' guide. The guide would explain about the history of LW. I suggested you to visit LW in a group because it could save the money for paying the guide. 

Furthermore, we followed the guide's explanation , and the guide also answered our questions excitedly. Besides, he also became our photographer and we acted as proffesional models .hehehhee  . Then, we arrived in a room that had an access to get in the underground. Only 6 of us who decided to explore it. We had to pay Rp 10.000 /person to rent the boots ,and we should give additional tip (it's about Rp 20.000) for the guide to explore the underground.

As you can see in this left picture, we worn the boots. We must wear the boots because there's water in the underground. Moreover, we were also given some flashlight to light our way in exploring the underground , since there's no enough light in. Personally, I was so curious about the underground condition.Was the atmosphere creepy? Could I see "something"? These kind of questions emerged in my mind before I started to go in.

The picture in your left side, the downstairs was an access to go to the underground. We had to walk one by one. The first impression when we started the exploration, I smelt the rancid aroma and quiet musty. The guide warned us to walk slowly and be baned to shout. The guide started to explained the history of the underground. Let me sum up the guide's explanation. So , the underground of Lawang Sewu established in 1904 (the same as the Lawang Sewu building was built). The first function of the underground was for the water system (in Dutch' colonization) . However, In Japan's colonization , it was used for different function as the underground prison. The prisoners were executed in this prison , then their corpse were threw away in the river next to the Lawang Sewu building.Can you imagine how cruelity of Japanese colonizer at that time?. 

This picture below was the shape of the prison. The square shape below was the Squat Prison (Penjara Jongkok) and the size was 1x1 metre. One squat prison was for 5 person.Therefore, the prisoners must squat in the prison and there was water in. Besides, the prison was closed by the iron framework. They were not given food. They were in the prisons until they dead.When I saw the sorrounding of this prison , I didn't see "something" that I wanted to see, hehehhehehe. However, I sensed different atmosphere here. No wonder , this was superb historical place which many slaughter happened in this place. 

The picture below was the second type of the prison , named the standing prison (Penjara Berdiri) . As you can see the shape of it, these prison were also filled by 5 person , and they were in till they dead. Did you see the small spot in the dark part of this photo? It was called "orbs" , i.e. something in the shape of a sphere. There was 2 orbs behind me . As far as I knew , the orbs indicated that there were astral things around.



 Furthermore, my friends' smile in the above photos  was a fake smile , hahahahah . Actually they felt afraid,they didn't want to be in the back , and they wanted to be in the front part. So , I was in the back  bacause I was brave enough , hahahhahahah  . After we were captured , we continued the journey. In the middle of the journey , I smelt the fragrant aroma of the jasmine. Whoaaa , what was the sign of it??? When I asked my friends , they didn't smell anything. Maybe, one of the astral spirit would communicate with me or say hello to me via the aroma.Then, I got goosebumps. 

Yeap , we were in the corridor of the Lawang Sewu underground. In this area, I didn't smell the fragrant aroma anymore. However , I felt the slightly different atmosphere when I was in the outside and I was in the underground. I could feel the sadness atmosphere in.

 Finally, we ended the exploration of the underground . Before leaving this awesome underground , we posed again. As usual , I was the last person because yaapp you knew lah  ,,they were a little bit afraid .

All in all , exploring the underground of Lawang Sewu was so superb . I learned the history again. I could feel the different atmosphere. I also got welcoming greeting from one of the astral spirit eventhough it was only the fragrant aroma of jasmine. Thanks a million for my pals who invited me to visit Lawang Sewu . I hope I can visit Lawang Sewu again and I can explore the underground at night. I believe there will be slightly different atmosphere if I am in Lawang Sewu in the evening or at night.

Pengunduran Diri seorang Pelamar Kerja ?

Assalamualaikum waramatullahiwabarakatuh , salam sejahtera untuk kita semua , amin 

Haloha para sahabat setia pembaca postinganku , ihiiirrrr , hehhe

Bagaimana kabar kalian? Semoga selalu sehat jasmani dan rohani ya , amin =)

Berbicara tentang sebuah lowongan pekerjaan , pasti akan ada para pelamar kerja. Nah, apa yang ada di benak kalian ketika membaca pernyataan : "Pengunduran Diri seorang Pelamar Kerja" , apakah terkesan aneh atau lucu atau ahhh itu biasa saja?

Bagiku pernyataan tersebut sedikit lucu , kok bisa pelamar kerja mengundurkan diri sebelum bekerja. Tapi disisi lain ya sah-sah aja kok dengan hal tersebut. Pasti mau tau ya  siapa pelamar kerja yang mengundurkan diri itu? , Dan pelamar kerja tersebut adalah diriku sendiri . Lha kok bisa gitu? Iya tentunya bisa . Jadi begini ceritanya :

Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb , Salam sejahtera untuk kita semua, amin

Hai , apa kabar sahabat-sahabatku? semoga kalian selalu dalam keadaan sehat dan semangat , amin ^_^

Pernahkah kalian mengalami situasi yang "membahana" , ketika kalian harus mengikuti tes dan di tengah perjalanan untuk menuju ke lokasi tes tersebut ada kejadian yang tak terduga menghampiri kalian?

Atas kehendak dan ijin Allah, aku pernah mengalami situasi seperti itu.Alhamdulillah. Kala itu aku hendak mengikuti tes di salah satu perguruan tinggi negeri di Semarang. Karena jadwal tesnya dimulai jam 8 pagi , aku berangkat  naik motor dari rumah jam  6 kurang 5 menit karena butuh waktu sekitar 40 menit untuk sampai di tempat tes.Ditengah perjalanan, situasi itu terjadi :

" Kondisi waktu itu jalanan macet , dan ketika aku akan menyalip (dengan hati-hati dari sisi kiri) sebuah mobil yang berhenti dan ternyata di sisi samping mobil tersebut berjarak sekitar 1 meter ada sebuah sepeda yang akan menyeberang. Dan dengan percaya diri pikiranku berbisik  "ayo salip mobil itu" , tapi sempat kalbuku berkata " jangan disalip, kayaknya nanti body motormu bakal  menyenggol bagian belakang body sepeda tersebut". Entah kenapa aku lebih mengikuti pikiranku kala itu, dan tanpa sengaja body belakang motorku  menyenggol sepeda tersebut .Alhasil sepeda tersebut hampir jatuh tersungkur di aspal. Waktu itu aku mulai gundah gulana , kenapa tadi aku harus mengikuti pikiranku."

Seketika aku dan temanku (yang aku boncengkan) menghampiri pemilik sepeda tersebut. Kami menanyakan apakah ada yang terluka atau memar-memar. Alhamdulillah nya tidak terjadi apa-apa, sang pemilik sepeda yang berhati mulia tersebut hanya kaget saja dan memintaku untuk berhati-hati dalam berkendara. Aku mengakui kelalaian/kesalahanku dan meminta maaf kepada beliau. Dengan jiwa pemaaf yang tinggi, beliau memaafkanku :" Lain kali hati-hati ya mbak" . Sungguh mulia hati beliau. Alhamdulillahirrabilalamin. Semoga Allah senantiasa melindungi beliau. Ini cambukan yang cethar untukku , agar aku lebih berhati-hati dalam mengendarai motor. Sehingga tidak akan terjadi lagi situasi yang membahana ini. Mungkin ini terjadi karena aku tidak berhati-hati dan lupa berdoa sebelum berkendara. 

Establish an English Course : Easy or Difficult?

What do you think guys when you hear the words " English Course"?

Of course it's a place to learn English, isn't it? or Do you think that English Course is a business place? Do you think that establish an English Course is easy or difficult?

There's no right or wrong answer for those questions. It depends on the viewpoints of each person. In my sight , English course is  a place where I can apply the theories of my education field. My education field is in English Language Teaching, so English Course or Teaching English is really fit to my passion. Talking about "passion" is really interesting because it links between my brain and my heart. Yapzz, My passion is in teaching. I love teaching. Teaching is my soul. cieeeeeeeeee :p

Okay, I would like to share my experience in establishing my own English course. My English  Course's name is CEC (Candra English Course) with the tagline "Let's Learn English". CEC is established on March 30th 2013, so it's still fresh and new ~(^_^)~ . It's located in Jl.Soka 5 No.104 Brambang-Karangawen (a.k.a. in my house), heheh. Furthermore, it's so obvious that I wanna introduce to my students that English is fun, so that they would be able to deepen their English skill well. The class is more focus on “fun learning activity” , it means that the students feels fun and enjoy in learning English. Therefore, they will love English.Personally, many  preparations are needed in starting to have my own English course. The preparations are the human resources, the facilities, the financial and budget, and the marketing-promotion. Let's check each point that should be prepared :

1. The human resources
In this case, the human resources are the teachers itself.This human resources also contributes in the success of English Course.Since CEC is still a fresh and new English course ,so it still accomodates 1 classroom.Besides, There's only 1 teacher in CEC. The teacher has a great method/approach in teaching English , so  I can guarantee that the students will be enjoy in the class. 

2. The facilities 
The facilities also support the teaching-learning activity.For instance, the facilities in CEC are :
a. whiteboard,board-markers,eraser 
b. tables (10) 
c. chairs (16)
d. English books (6) 
e. dictionaries (7) 
f. fan (1) 
g.laptop (1) 
h. speaker (1 unit) 
i. classroom ( 4 x 4 m)

IBM Class : Interesting ? (part 1)

In the afternoon , A and B have lunch at cafe . While , they are waiting their foods , they have a great conversation : 

A: I've ever heard that IBM is interesting class , is it true?

B: Ummm , Yes, it is.

A: Ohh, I see , coz some people also said that taking IBM class can also improve our knowledge about business, is it right?

B: Yaa, that's right.

A : By the why, do you take IBM class this semester?

B: Yes.

A: Ohh, come on B, can you tell me everything about IBM class coz I want to know more about it , hmmm you always respond my questions in the simplest answer >,< .Please, tell me that you have got so far in IBM class. :)

B: Okay , you've to listen it carefully , I'll tell you a little bit about IBM  are you ready?

A: Yuhuuu

B : Okay, although  I'm an English Department student and I take elective class-IBM class, I think that IBM class is really interesting. IBM stands for  International Business Marketing , IBM is important because it will give us general overview that people need to do business , and we also know how to do marketing. In the first meeting , my beloved lecturer, named Bu Risti , gave explanation about International business and International marketing. As the name suggest, International Business is any firm that engage in international trade or investment. While international marketing is  an activity conducted by a company to produce the product that should be planned based on the need of someone ( costumer) or country. 

A: Ohh I see , can you give me an example of International Investment?

B: Coca-Cola company, you know that Coca-Cola is originally USA company, and Coca-Cola has invested the company in Indonesia ( Ungaran, Central Java) , In short we can conclude that International Investment occurs when a firm invests resources in business activities outside its home country.

A:Ohh, I see, so it can be conclude that the Coca Cola company wants to get closer with Indonesian consumer.

B: Yap exactly :)

A: That's really interesting , thanks for sharing :D.

B: Anytime ^_^ , Waa that's our food, let's have a lunch first, coz I'm totally hungry 

A: Okay , we can discuss about  IBM class later .

Finally, their foods is on their table , and they stopped their conversation about IBM class , and they will continue it later.
